CORRESPONDENCE.
TAMPERING WITH WATER METERS.
To the EDITOR:
In your issue of October 23, Mr. Jas. H. Smith, superintendent, Mount Carmel. Pa., complains that his customers reverse their meters. Let him put a seal upon the meter dial and pass a wire across the connections of the meter, with his seal upon each connection (the seal to be such as is used in sealing freight cars). If the seal is found tampered with, he will know what remedy to apply. WM. L. CAMERON,
Water Works Expert.
