Cooperation Emphasized by Westchester Chiefs

Cooperation and mutual assistance was the keynote at the first meeting of the season of the Fire Chiefs Emergency Plan of Westchester County, which was held at the fire house of Hose Company No. 2, Barry Avenue, Mamaroneck, N. Y., on Wednesday evening, October 21. There were 61 members present. The Plan was welcomed by Chief Harriott and former Chief Lemon, of Mamaroneck.

Judge Hoop, Bronxville, gave an interesting report for the Legislative Committee, and assured the members that the differences as to the law on benefits for injuries to volunteer firemen would be thrashed out with the New York legislature and proper legislation on this subject would be passed, if he could possibly bring that about.
