American Fire and Industrial Products Company announces the appointment of Donald C. Bryant as director of engineering. Bryant will be responsible for the engineering, manufacturing and future development of the company’s product line. Amfire is a manufacturer of a water-powered tool called the Water Drill. The drill uses water from a fire department pumper both as a power source for drilling through buildings and also as an extinguisher for putting out interior fires. It permits fire fighters to drill rapidly into any structure and instantly direct a spray of water onto inaccessible or hard to reach areas.
Thomas R. Nist has been appointed vice president of marketing for Ward La France International, Inc., the company’s worldwide marketing organization. L. Dale Chalker has been appointed vice president of marketing for Ward La France Truck Corporation, the post which has been held by Nist.
