SurvivAir Protective Breathing Equipment, a division of U. S. Divers Co. of Santa Ana, Calif., recently broke ground for the construction of an additional building which will be located at their present address of 3323 West Warner Avenue in that city. The new facility is necessary due largely to the increased demands for both underwater and protective breathing equipment now being produced, and new products to be produced in the future. Construction which will provide an additional 34,000 square feet of production area, will be completed by October 15.
Donald J. McCoy was named vice president of the ITT Fluid Handling Division of International Telephone and Telegraph Corporation. He also is general manager of the ITT Bell & Gossett Hydronics unit which manufactures centrifugal pumps, hydronic accessories, heat exchangers and oil-less air compressors. Mr. McCoy was formerly director of manufacturing of the Welch Scientific Company.
