"COME ON IN, THE WATER’S FINE!’” IN SPITE OF SURROUNDING SNOW

MOST of us prefer to take our daily plunge when the air is at a fairly even temperature, but these hardy boys of Colorado say, “Come on in, the water is fine,” when the mercury is flirting with zero, even if their bath is a hot one. No doubt many of the chiefs of the Eastern Regulars will remember genial Secretary Canady and the rest of the Glenwood Springs Volunteer bunch, though there was no sign of snow on the ground at that time. The photographs furnished by M'. Canady will convince any chief who may have accepted his statement at that time with "a grain of salt."
