Church Destroyed in Toronto
Oily rags are believed to be responsible for the fire that destroyed the Erskine United Church in Toronto, Canada.
Both a pedestrian and a policeman noticed an unusual red glow in one of the church windows. They turned in an alarm and about the same time a telephone alarm was received. The call brought two 750-gallon triple combination American-LaFrance pumpers, one American-LaFrance city service truck, one hose car and District Chief Dum.
