投票的24 - 2 (James r . Canterbury has been re-elected chief of the fire department of Minneapolis, Minn. The citizens of Minneapolis know when they have a good thing, and their representatives in the council oy their action have voiced the sentiments of virtually the entire community, and shown their appreciation of Chief Canterbury’s service by re-electing him to the responsible position he has filled so acceptably. The office of chief as well as everything connected with the uniformed force of the fire department should be rendered altogether independent of politics.
