Chief Boulden to Lead Firemen Overseas
Chief Donald A. Boulden has received a leave of absence from the Winnipeg, Man., Fire Department to take up an appointment as Commander of the detachment of Canadian firefighters which will leave for Britain shortly.
Chief Boulden served overseas in the First World War in the armed services, and some years later was appointed from a post as hoseman to head Winnipeg's fire department.
