British Manual on Atomic Warfare
The British Government has just issued a pamphlet on atomic warfare to help in the training of Civil Defense workers in Britain. Published by His Majesty’s Stationery Office on behalf of the Home Office, which is responsible for the British Civil Defense Corps, a limited number of copies have been received by British Information Services, New York, and are available, price 50c.
Based on the visit of a number of scientists to Japan after the two atom bombs in 1945, the pamphlet represents exhaustive research carried on ever since then.
