In preparation for the holding of the 32nd annual convention of the Western Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association, which takes place in Beaver County the second week in August, 1925, the firemen of that county on Sunday, September 15, met and formed the Beaver County Firemen’s Convention Association. The meeting was held at the Rochester fire department headquarters and nearly all of the fire departments of the county were represented. The officers elected for the county association at this meeting were: President, George E. Dietrich, of Monaca; first vicepresident, Chief G. F. Fehr, of Freedom; second vice-president, William Parris, of Beaver Falls; secretary, Joseph H. Gohmann, of Rochester; treasurer, Chief R. Timmons, of Beaver Falls.
