Appreciation from New York Firemen
A series of resolutions expressing the deep appreciation of the unselfish labors of Honorary Deputy Chief Harry M. Archer, M. D., Honorary Deputy Chief Robert H. Mainzer, Honorary Deputy Chief Edward F. Kenny and Hampton E. Oakley to promote the welfare and happiness of the firemen of New York City, were recently unanimously passed by the Uniformed Firemen’s Association of Greater New York at a meeting of that organization. These resolut i on s were later presented to these four gentlemen at their offices by a committee of firemen consisting of William H. Anderson, Abraham Rosenberg, Charles M. Nixon and Edward Frawley. The resolutions, a copy of one of which is illustrated herewith, were handsomely engrossed and framed. All of the r e od p i e nts oppressed their pleasure at the honor done them by the firemen in thus remembering their services.
