Annual Report of the Fire Department of Watertown

Chief Henry C. Bundy, of the Watertown, N. Y., fire department, tells the mayor and Board of Safety of that city that the discipline of his department has been excellent and of the kind that has encouraged efficiency, there having been only two known cases where the rules of the department were violated. One of these was the case of a member who was insubordinate, and fined one day’s pay, and the other case where a member was insubordinate, and who, after being reprimanded, continued to break the rules of the department, was suspended and after due consideration by the board, was asked to resign and, refusing to do so, was discharged for the good of the department.
