On this page is shown a view of the aerial recently purchased for its fire department by the city of Virginia, Minn., and also one showing the 65-foot ladder being tested by the members of the department. The apparatus is the product of the Peter Pirsch & Sons Company, Kenosha, Wis., and consists, besides the aerial with its improved channel construction of Pirsch patent trussed wall, roof and extension ladders of various lengths, axes, crowbars, lanterns, extinguishers, horn, bell, pike poles and all the other accessories that go to make up a perfect machine of this character.
