A Triple Number.
As an evidence of our determination to give all important news pertaining to the Fire Service, we issue a triple number of the JOURNAL this week. In it will be found a full report of the National Convention of Fire Engineers, held at Cleveland last week, and a consecutive report of the National Tournament at Chicago. Next week we shall print the official proceedings of the Illinois State Firemen’s Association. This number will be found full of interest to all persons in any way fidentified with the Fire Service.
The report of the National Convention will be embodied in pamphlet form, and distributed by the Association. The proceedings of the Illinois Association, and the report of the Tournament will make another pamphlet for distribution by that Association. Subscribers to the JOURNAL, however, receive them all without additional cost in this number.
