Imagine the message it sends to members of Congress when they see 2,000 fire service leaders walking the halls of Congress, delivering messages about how our legislative representatives can best address the needs and challenges of local fire departments across the nation. On May 8-9, CFSI will host the 25thAnnual National Fire and Emergency Services Dinner and Seminars programs, offering an array of programs and opportunities to engage both members of Congress and administration officials in discussions about first responder issues.
The theme of this year’s program is “Renewing Our Commitment.” If you are concerned about potential cuts to programs that have benefited your department, such as the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program or Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response, then renew your own commitment to preserving these programs and other federal programs by joining us at this important event.
Information about the dinner and seminars program is available on our website athttp://www.cfsi.org/events/annual_dinner.cfm. Please do not wait; make your reservations now. Contact CFSI at202-371-1277if you have any questions.
