Dacusville (SC) – Pcikens County Investigators said two children died in an early morning mobile home fire Sunday.
Chief Deputy Creed Hashe with the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and crews with the Dacusville Fire Department responded to a home on Daisy Drive just after 4:30 a.m.
Hashe said the mobile home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
Hashe said crews were able to rescue a woman and a two-year-old child from the home, who were rushed to the Augusta Burn Center to be treated for their injuries.
Hashe said crews also discovered the bodies of two other children, who appeared to have perished in the fire.
The children were seven-year-old Timothy Graham and four-year-old Devin Graham. Autopsies will be performed on both Today.
The woman identified herself to first responders as the mother of the three children; she said she was cooking when the fire erupted inside the home.
