Remains of Five Maryland Fire Victims Recovered

As investigators unearthed a fifth body Friday from the ruins of a 16,000-square-foot mansion destroyed in a fire earlier this week, surviving family members who have lost their son, daughters and parents allowed a glimpse into their loved ones’ lives, reports USA Today (http://usat.ly/1taCHFf)

Charlotte Boone, 8, wanted to be known as a gamer, and she loved making videos with her pet guinea pig, Oreo, according to statements released by a family friend, Toni Aluisi of Washington. Her 6-year-old brother, Wesley “Wes” Boone, wanted to build robots and “looked up to his older sister immensely.”

Their cousins, blue-eyed, towheaded sisters Alexis “Lexi” Boone, 8, and Kaitlyn “Katie” Boone, 7, were a year apart but looked more like twins. The older girl knew she would be famous one day. Her little sister loved Taylor Swift.

All four now are believed to be dead along with their grandparents, Don and Sandy Pyle.
