Oregon Firefighter Accused of Sexually Assaulting Another Firefighter

An arrest warrant has been issued for a former Port of Portland firefighter, accused of raping one of his coworkers on a work trip, reports kptv.com.

The case began with a fire department training trip to Texas last fall.

A female firefighter, who will remain anonymous, says she was raped on the trip by one of her port coworkers, Jason McCann.

McCann was put on unpaid leave and recently fired.

经过近一年的发票estigation, the Grapevine, Texas police department issued a warrant for McCann’s arrest on sex assault charges.

At last check, he has not been taken into custody.

Court documents say the alleged victim received a settlement of $325,000 from the port.

Her husband, a fellow firefighter at the port, also received a settlement of $15.000. He claimed he had workplace anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress after the assault.

The alleged victim has since resigned from her job.
