Manchester (NH) firefighters extinguished five overnight fires, four of which were arson and the fifth of which was suspicious. An additional fire that self-extinguished was reported on Monday morning.
Because several of the fires occured within a short time frame and in close proximity to one another, fire officials believe they are connected.
The largest fire, a two-alarm fire at a vacant but recently renovated apartment house, caused about $100,000 in damage.
