More Than 70 Displaced in Two-Alarm TN Apartment Fire

According to a report fromWKRN, the Nashville (TN) Fire Department (NFD) responded to an apartment fire early Sunday morning at the Harding Glen Condos in the 270 block of Tampa Drive.

NFD crews arrived at the scene at just after 5 a.m. and were able to contain the fire to one building and evacuate all occupants.

Fire crews made a great stop at the Tampa Drive fire. Though the fire was through the roof on their arrival, crews were able to cut the fire off in the breezeway and prevent it from spreading to the other 20 units in Building E. NFD reports that the fire began in Building E of the complex, home to 30 units. According to Nashville Emergency Operations, the incident displaced 71 people.
