After several years of design and development, Lumiflex, Inc., has announced that they are ready to bring to market a revolutionary new light product that is so functional and beneficial for low visibility rescue operations, that it will help save lives. The Rescue Cablelight is a 200 foot industrial strength illuminated cable, that is extremely flexible, rugged, and waterproof. This exciting new product will be introduced at the FDIC show, the largest trade show for firefighters in the world, taking place April 21-24 in Indianapolis.

Firefighters that tested the Rescue Cablelight in scenario based Rapid Intervention Company (RIC) training reported that the Rescue Cablelight provided them with a very steady and visible illuminated pathway to safety, and that it also allowed them to reduce their heart rates and remain calm. The Rescue Cablelight can be stepped on, is weight bearing up to 480 lbs., and heat resistant up to 385 degrees. Co-invented by a Fire Captain, the Rescue Cablelight can transmit data, and has an emergency flash mode.

“The Rescue Cablelight will provide benefits to various industrial marking operations, and will assist rescue professionals, first responders, military, firefighters, or police,” said Alex Parr, coinventor of the Rescue Cablelight, and president of Lumiflex, Inc. “Whether it’s the person being rescued, or the rescue professionals themselves, this product has the capability to save lives.” Parr added, “We’re very proud that this product is made entirely in the USA.”
