A Houston (TX)firefighterwas in critical condition late Thursday after collapsing outside a house fire, according to a news report.
According to theHouston Chronicle(http://bit.ly/1GbEzzP), Capt. Dwight Bazile led his crew of firefighters into a burning home with reports of people trapped. He reportedly exited, went to a stretcher to sit down, then collapsed.
He was rushed to intensive care at an area hospital. Authorities said his family has been notified, according to the report.
The investigation in the fire is continuing, and no one was found inside the house.
