FL Firefighter Test Scores Miscalculated

Test results were miscalculated for an April exam for Miami (FL) firefighter applicants, affecting hundreds of would-be recruits.

Incorrect answers had been programmed into the computer that graded the exams, according to a report from theMiami Herald(http://hrld.us/18yHj9X). Test-takers started complaining after scores were e-mailed out on May 20; applicants who had taken the test previously and expected to do better the second time around were especially distressed by the results.

Administrators found the error and regraded the tests, and mailed out new scores on Friday.
