Six People Injured in OK Apartment Fire

Six people were injured–five critically–in a fire Tuesday night at an apartment complex inTulsa, Oklahoma. Threechildrenwere among those badly injured, although an update indicated one of the children’s condition had been upgraded.

The fire at the Bradstone Apartments was reported about 8:30 p.m, according toThe Tulsa World(http://bit.ly/RXqPjO). The complex is owned by the Mental Health Association in Tulsa.

Of the building’s 12 apartments, two are a complete loss, a fire department spokesman said. Three more have fire damage, and three additional units have smoke and water damage, he said. All the residents were displaced.

Firefightersrespondedto the scene. Rescuers removed several victims on stretchers.
