An elderly man suffered severesmoke inhalationbut wasrescuedby firefighters from a fire at his home in Conemaugh Township, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday morning.
One firefighter suffered unspecified injuries and another was hospitalized due to chest pains. The civilian victim’s wife was able to escape from the early morning fire, but firefighters had to enter the structure through a window and proceed through the fire to make the rescue.
