Firefighters rescued several children from the top floor of a three-story building during an early-morning, extra-alarm fire in Broadview, Illinois.
No children were injured, according to aChicago Tribunereport (http://trib.in/IReU1y).
As firefighters arrived on scene, it appeared residents were getting ready to throw some children into a blanket held by people on the ground. Firefighters used ladders to effect the rescues.
