Feb. 21—EAST WINDSOR — A family of four was displaced by a house fire Sunday night at 45 S. Main St.

According to Fire Marshal Richard Austin, the fire occurred around 9 p.m. Sunday and burned three rooms in the house. It was left uninhabitable, he said.

Austin said this morning the cause of the fire hadn’t been determined yet, but it was likely electrical.

The Red Cross responded to the scene to help with the family’s immediate needs. The Red Cross provides comfort kits with personal care items, information about agencies and organizations to contact for help, and a temporary place to stay, if needed.
