湖蓝色Township (MI) – An October 27 house fire was intentionally set, investigators have determined.
The fire at a home at the corner of Louisa and Columbia streets in Blue Lake Township was reported at 7:07 p.m.
湖蓝色Township Chief Larry Radtke said the unoccupied home was set afire by an unknown suspect.
The home was owned by a man who has since died, but the man’s son was the caretaker, Radtke said. The home was checked on about once a week by the son, he said.
The son has been ruled out as a suspect, he said.
