Vision 20/20, with support fromFirst Alert, retained Salter Mitchell, a communications firm, to conduct a survey onsmoke alarmmessaging. This survey was done in two locations, Alexandria, Virginia and Tallahassee, Florida and involved door-to-door visits in areas that were considered high-risk by the fire departments.
