Quincy, MA, – The 2001 NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) Fall Education Conference will take place November 10-14 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Dallas. Code-related seminars to be featured include a review of more than 300 significant changes to the 2002 Edition of the National Electrical Code(r) and an update on the proposed NFPA 5000, Building Code(tm). Other seminars will address challenges faced by emergency responders, and fire safety considerations for people with disabilities, as well as for college students living on- or off-campus.
The keynote address will be delivered by veteran journalist Morton Kondracke, executive editor of the Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call and a frequent guest on the McLaughlin Group. Social humorist Jimmy Tingle, of 60 Minutes II, will provide some comic relief as the featured guest at Tuesday’s luncheon.
