Sponsored by the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) and Fire Protection Publications (FPP), this prestigious award annually honors a Fire Corps program whose remarkable achievements in the fire and emergency services and the community exemplify outstanding performance. The winning program will receive travel and accommodations for up to three representatives to attend the award presentation at the Fire Corps National Advisory Committee meeting in the Washington, D.C.–area in September; a personalized award for the program; recognition certificates and T-shirts for each member; program profiled on the Fire Corps Web site and other publications; and a place in Fire Corps history.
