Firefighters Rescue Occupant from 2-Alarm Hartford (CT) Fire

At 1320 hours on July 26, 2015,firefightersresponded to this two-alarm fire at 63 Vine St. in Hartford, Connecticut. Members rescued one occupant via ground ladder, according to fire photographer Pat Dooley.

The local FOX affiliate reported that an unattended candle was blamed for the fire, which displaced more than 30 people. Upon arrival, fire crews were met with heavy fire in a three-story, 18-unit, apartment building; the report said firefighters made multiplerescues, and two residents were taken to area hospitals for evaluation.
