At around 0110 hours on Monday, April 13,firefightersfrom the Hamtramck (MI) Fire Department were dispatched to check for a possible dwelling fire at Holbrook & Brombach.

Hamtramck Engine 1 and Ladder 1 arrived on the scene and reported a working fire in a four-family dwelling. Engine 1 requested the box alarm and stretched on the dwelling.
Chief 5 assumed command and requested a thirdengineforRIT. Crews performed in interior attack and brought this fire under control with three lines in 30 minutes.
Responding to thisincidentwere Hamtramck Engines 1, 35, and 39; Hamtramck Ladder 1; Squad 3; and Chief 5.
