The International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and other fire service organizations have sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services asking for the agency’s commitment to ensuringfirefightersandEMSpersonnel have sufficienttrainingand resources to respond to suspected cases of Ebola. Right now, too many fire departments do not have the proper equipment needed to safely respond to an Ebola call.
