DANIEL P. SHERIDANis a 26-year veteran of the Fire Department of New York, where he is a battalion chief. He has worked in the highly active units in Harlem and the Bronx for most of his career. He is a national instructor and the founder and chief operating officer of Mutual Aid Americas, an international nonprofit training group to assist firefighters. Previously, he instructed at the Rockland County (NY) Fire Academy. He is a frequent contributor to188金宝搏是正规吗magazine and has a monthly column onwww.fireengineering.com. He authored Chapter 12 (Forcible Entry) forFire Engineering’s Handbook for Firefighter I and II.
MATT McDOWELLis the chief of training for the North Charleston Fire Department, instructor for the South Carolina Fire Academy, president of the Lowcountry FOOLS, and owner of Safe Firefighter, LLC. He holds a degree in fire ddministration and has previously served as captain for the Bluffton Township Fire District, training officer for Hardeeville Fire Department in South Carolina, and firefighter for the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department in Prince George’s County, Maryland. He hosts the “Street Smart Shop Talk” radio show on Fire Engineering Talk Radio.
