Today the Scientific Technical Advisory Committee (STAT) met, and have agreed to add four additional Cancers to the Zadroga Bill. The cancers added are Pancreas, Cervix Uteri, Testicular and Malignant Neoplasm’s of the Brain. The FealGood Foundation applauds this decision knowing that more Responders, Volunteers, and Survivors will be eligible for Compensation and Treatment under the Zadroga Bill. While this is a step in the right direction, we all know we have much more work to do, and we can not rest until the Healthcare & Compensation are working at 100% capacity so they can serve the 9/11 Community at large. There will be a 60-90 day discussion period on the adding of these Cancers and we implore those in the 9/11 Community to voice your opinions.
