Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE:OSK) company, has placed sevenPierce Arrow XTcustom pumpers into service at the Memphis Division of Fire Services located in Memphis, Tennessee. Three of the seven apparatus are specially equipped foam pumpers and the remaining four arepuc抽水机。

The three custom foam pumpers are deployed to protect areas surrounding the city’s historic Mississippi River port district. Each is equipped with a Pierce exclusive DD13 big block 450 hp engine, TAK-4 independent front suspension, a 19-inch front bumper extension, a 10-inch raised roof cab, and seating for six. The firefighting system includes a 500-gallon water tank, a 250-gallon Class B foam tank, a 25-gallon Class B foam tank, and a 500-lb dry chemical system. The foam pumpers feature a 1500 gpm single stage pump, a Husky 12 dual agent foam system feeding six discharges, and a roof-mounted 1250 gpm electric monitor.
The fourpucpumpers each feature a DD13 500 hp engine, TAK-4 independent front suspension, side roll and frontal air bag protection system, seating for six firefighters, and an EMS compartment inside the cab. These pumpers also include a 750-gallon water tank, a 30-gallon foam cell, and a Husky 12 single agent foam system. The aluminum body features full height and full depth compartments, nine adjustable shelves, a swing-out tool board, 500-pound capacity slide out trays, low mount crosslays, and two lift-up roof compartments.
