Ashurricaneseason now begins, the Firefighters Support Foundation’s (FSF) newest training program is now available.HurricanePlanning for Small- and Mid-Sized Agenciesaddress the phases of thehurricaneevent and the preparatory actions that agencies should be taking during each of them. The program consists of a 30-minute video presentation and an accompanying 34-slide PowerPoint. The presenter isAugust Vernon, the well-known emergency management trainer. All agencies in potentialhurricane pathsshould be prepared in case one hits this season.
