Streamlight®Inc., a leading provider of high-performance lighting and weapon light/laser sighting devices, debuted its growing line of High Lumen (HL) flashlight models at Booth 12562 at the National Shooting Sport Foundation’s 2013 SHOT Show, January 15-18, in Las Vegas. The new HL lights join Streamlight’s existing “Tradition” lights, designed to provide a strong balance between lumens and candela, and its “High Performance” (HP) series of flashlights, which feature the same or slightly more lumens than those in the Tradition line but with more candela. While users may be familiar with models in both series, Streamlight has introduced new technology to increase each light’s performance, Sharrah said.

HP models provide similar or slightly higher lumens than those in the Tradition line but deliver superior long-range lighting because of the increased candela. They are designed for applications downrange, such as during search and rescue operations or when lighting up a dark trail.
