A Gordonville (PA) firefighter was injured after falling 20 feet from a roof during a fire on Saturday, according to reports.
CBS 21 reportedthat firefighters were responding to a structure fire at around 7 p.m. in Leacock Township. The firefighter reportedly was performing vertical ventilation when he fell.
He was transported and treated for a broken femur, and is now recovering, the report said.
Roof operations can pose a variety of hazards to members, among them falling from a height.
