The Volunteer Ambulance Serves
The Fire Department Ambulance Corps has established a unique place for itself in the Volunteer Fire Service. One hundred fifty runs per year, over the area of a County, is not an unusual performance for an ambulance maintained by a volunteer department. With the great number of highway accidents today, the service rendered by these units is invaluable.
