WELL DRILLING NOTES
A bill is now before the United Stales Senate appropriating $3,000,000 to be used under the direction of the secretary of agriculture for the purpose of sinking artesian wells in the arid districts of the United States.
An artesian well is being sunk at Pana, Ill., for a waler supply.
