—The water-works trustees of Norwalk, O., have purchased twenty-one acres of ground for the purpose of improving the water supply.
— The five artesian wells recently bored at Galveston, Tex., yield 1,000,000 gallons of water daily. Five more are to be bored, with the expectation of increasing the flow to 2,000,000 gallons.
