WATER RATES
The City Council, of Macon, Mo., has raised the rates of water in accordance with a schedule submitted by a committee appointed by the mayor, to act with him and Superintendent C. E. Thudium.
The Borough Council, of Rockaway, N. J., has fixed a minimum charge of ten dollars per year. Any water used in excess of the minimum will be charged for at the rate of twenty-five cents per 1,000 gallons.
