WATER RATES
According to figures compiled by Service Director Goodwillie, of Toledo, O., the minimum metered water rate in Toledo is $6.40 a year. The average initial rate per 100 cubic feet in Toledo is eight cents.
The city council of Upper Sandusky, O., recently compromised with the Upper Sandusky Water Works Co. on water rates, after a six months fight. Now a referendum petition is being circulated to call a special election on the new rates.
