Water Main Freezes
Superintendent E. H. Shroff, of Lebanon, Pa., recently found a main frozen, the first one to have frozen in that city in years, and is said to have been caused by a regrading: of the street, which left the main without sufficient covering. The main was frozen solid and split wide open and the escaping water tore a large hole in the ground.
