Thursday morning will be given up to a grand parade of firemen, the afternoon and evening being taken up with visits to the Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock company’s plant and that of the Old Dominion Brewing and Ice company, winding up with a clam bake on the beach. On Friday will take place the accustomed tournament, with distribution of prizes. Refreshments will be served at the enginehouse at all hours during the three days. The officers of the association are as follows: W. K. Stow, president, Newport News; J. V. Perley, senior, viccpresident, Charlottesville; J. H. Dwyer, statistician. Harrisonburg; Geo. G. Cumming, secretary, Portsmouth; T. J. Williams, treasurer, Charlottesville; the Rev. C. II. Smith, chaplain, Richmond. Chief W. K. Stow, of New port News, who is acting as corresponding secretary, will receive all communications as to accommodations, etc.
