Truck Company Emergencies
Lead Instructor: Lieutenant Ray McCormack, Fire Department of New York
This class focuses on the core competencies of lifting, spreading, forcing, cutting, and lowering to rescue those who are trapped–lift a dumpster that has fallen on a child, lower an injured firefighter using a harness and rope down a stair shaft, stabilize an elevator and remove those inside, remove a person trapped by a vehicle into a store, and get your crew out of an overstocked basement. Time compression and teamwork are used to safely and effectively mitigate each emergency. ALL LEVELS
