Texas City Losses Adjusted
More than 90 per cent of the total number of claims in connection with the Texas City disaster, April 16-17, have now been paid, it is revealed by Donald B. Sherwood, general adjuster of the National Board of Fire Underwriters.
A total of 3,264 losses have now been paid, representing a total of $2,777,746, which money has gone toward restoration of businesses and dwellings, repair of which is virtually completed, Mr. Sherwood said.
