The annual report of the Superior fire department shows that during the year, ended October 1, there were 101 actual working fires,of which, thanks to the good working of the fire department under Chief Kellogg, but four spread beyond the building in which they originated. The total loss on buildings was $7,825, and insurance on them $89,250; the loss on contents was $5,260, and insurance $130,900.
